Cut-n-Sew Dragon from a Spoonflower fat quarter.
I would say this project is a medium sewer skill level.
However, I made a detailed two part video on how to sew it. If you are a beginner, watch the videos first to see if you feel comfortable doing it.
To start you need to order a fat quarter from Spoonflower from *here* .
When your fabric arrives, follow the videos on how to sew the parts together.
Additional Supplies Needed:
-Green and brown felt, or some other material that doesn't unravel. I used a vinyl/fake leather.
- Optional, a stiff material, to help wings keep form. I used foam plastic, that is soft and can be stitched through. You could also use a few layers of felt together or a rolled up piece of scrap fabric.
-Pins, scissors, thread, needle, the usual sewing stuff.
Instructional videos:
This was a fun side project for me, besides printmaking and illustrating. Hope you have a good time making one of your own!
