New Spring Art Tutorials and Classes
I’ve pulled together my two latest classes with two other Procreate classes by Claire Makes Things and Ester Nariyoshi for a nice little path to learn how to create and edit brushes in Procreate.
All the classes are available on Skillshare + the pencil bunny tutorial is a freebie on YouTube (links for all below).
If you don’t have a Skillshare account yet, you can get a free 30-day trial with my teacher affiliate links, if you want to test drive it out. If you’re interested in picture book illustration, I’ve put out a nice selection of classes teaching character design, making dummies and more. I also have drawing, painting and productivity classes up.
Cute Pencil Bunny
I’ve uploaded this tutorial on YouTube where you can watch it for free, and a slightly more polished version on Skillshare.
In this short tutorial you’ll learn how to draw a cute bunny from scratch and how to color and shade it in. It’s a fun and quick class, great for relaxing and drawing for fun.
Procreate Texture Classes:
Procreate Snacks: Pencil Textured Bunny
In this fun mini class great for beginner skill levels, you’ll learn: how to tweak your brush in Procreate to create a varied colored pencil look in your digital illustration, how to set up a color palette, and how to sketch a cute bunny illustration that’s perfect for a spring greeting card.
We are using the pencil tool that comes free with Procreate, so no need to purchase any new tools.

Lettering with Texture: Chalk Art in Procreate
Since texture is the theme for today, I wanted to feature two other great classes to learn how to create textures in Procreate. The first one is by Claire Makes Things.
In the class, Claire shows you how to create chalk art in Procreate, complete with textured lettering, brush tips and shading tricks to make your piece stand out. Chalk lettering and illustration are super versatile, and the techniques you’ll pick up will improve your skills in lettering, composition, texture, and brushwork. Learn to use gritty, grainy and dusty textures to create authentic textured designs in Procreate!
Procreate Brushes: Make Your Own Digital Illustration Tools on the iPad
Imagine never having to pay for a brush set again! In this Procreate brush making class by Ester Nariyoshi you’ll learn how to make your own unique digital brushes.
You’ll start by using simple tools like a brayer and sponge to create interesting textures from scratch. Then, Esther will show you how to digitize these textures, turn them into seamless patterns, and transform them into fully customizable brushes in Procreate.
This class is designed to be approachable, fun, and packed with tips to help you personalize your brushes to suit your style.
Hope you’ll get a chance to check the fun new classes out. If there are classes that you want to see from me in the future, comment below or send me an email.
